Thanks, Cat Fancy: The book is featured in the March issue's book page (available only in print), along with the photo book, Cattitude, Michael Korda's book on Cat People, and the revised Dr. Pitcairn guide! Very good company.
I'll be doing a brief, fun talk on how to help your cat or dog keep his New Year's resolutions at the Hoboken Public Library (500 Park Avenue) this Wednesday, 6-7 pm, January 11. Hope you can make it. More info here:
I had a great time last night at WYSIWYG, a fantastic reading series of bloggers, great readers and writers all. The theme was, sort of, Chanukah-related. I read a part of a short story inspired in part by my husband's and my adoption of our dog Faith (she's the cutie in the picture in the blog). While I haven't written all that personally in this blog, without Faith, there would be no "My Fat Cat" or "My Fat Dog." Faith was the willing...lab rat? Lab canine? as we figured out how to slim her down...and help her live forever, if it were possible.
If you''d like to read the story, it's here. Click on the story title.

I had a really delightful chat with Barbara Dooley of WGAU-AM in Athens, Georgia last week about My Fat Dog and My Fat Cat. It's currently scheduled to run this Thursday, September 8th, around 8:45 AM. Hope you get a chance to listen!
